Bullety, Edition 34; Post Fringe
I know you're thinking "Please, not another post featuring just the gist. Give us something meaty!" I will. I will. Soon.
- My lovely date Lianne and I attended the Ottawa Fringe Festival Blogger Wine & Cheese on Saturday night. Let me just say that I would love to be a part of the planning for this event next year. It was a wonderful evening, beautiful weather and great company (with wine! and cheese!) and I think next year can rock even harder. The list of bloggers to invite swims in my head. Brad, if you need any help, I'm your girl. Having said that, it was great to meet Kristina (she has amazing skin!)and see Zoom! from the other side of the tables.
- This girl deserves her own bullet. Have I mentioned that I don't see Andrea enough? We had drinks after the wine and cheese. She is one of those people who is just so easy to talk to. The conversation flowed so easily, even with two people who had never met before at our table. (We each brought friends). I think that one of my favourite qualities of hers is how much she enjoys being a parent. You can see it when she talks about her girls - she really and truly relishes her role as a mother. She's not singsongy or unrealistic about it, but she potrays our job in such a way that you're reminded that it's supposed to be fun as well as a bit stressful and hard. Besides all that though, I always have fun with her.
- In keeping with the tech and socail media theme of my weekend, I finally signed up for Twitter. I am known there as "Chantalmonte" (clever, eh?) and I desperately need followers. Talking at nothing is sort of weird. I could do that in the bathroom at home!

i'm so sad i didn't get to go - sounds like so much fun. next year, next year, there' always next year!

The Fringe is a community event and I am happy to accept help from anywhere. Thanks again for coming and please send any suggestions for next year my way. Also, any bloggers who want to be put on our list for next year, send me an email at brad(AT)ottawafringe.com.
Let me know what shows you end up seeing with the pass.
